poetryMONDAY
Hmm, yes--another haiku. Blame it on my short attention span.
in rythm and dance
black branches crochet the storm --
the stars are unmoved
[poemtrain]
p.s. as of right now (it may not last) Father of Dragons made it into the top ten bestsellers at Samhain (see left column)

see this is why i love the Monday PT, meeting cool new people. Love your haiku, i hear they are supposed to be easy but i am crap at them. now i must go peek at your books.
yay! i missed you last week but i was good and didnt make a pest of myself. i like the dimensionality of this poem where the only thing linking the two realities (that of the trees and that of the stars) is the reader.
yay on book kudos and of course it's on my buy list!!

Great haiku, Emily. It gives me ideas...lol. Like I need help coming up with new story ideas.
Congrats on the sales as well. I read FoD and it was awesome. Even pimped it last Friday for you on my blog. Can't wait for a sequel.

Haiku are always a treat for me. This one is no exception.
Especially the last line.
