The ERWF is a place for anyone interested in erotic romance fiction to meet. We provide a number of resources for writers including writer forums, discussion forums and market listings. Our members include writers, editors, proof readers, publishers and illustrators.
The focus of the forum is on erotic romance of all types but we also include other areas of erotica and romance. We are interested in all types of publishing including electronic and self-publishing. Sexualities of all types are welcome. The only things we do not tolerate are prejudice, personal insults... and spam.
Emily Veinglory (veinglory) is a writer of fantasy, romance and erotica with a dark or paranormal twist. She writes for several e-publishers including Loose Id, Torquere Press, Samhain and Cobblestone Press. Most of her stories are m/m or menage such as the novella 'Eclipse of the Heart' (shown left): "He's openly gay, but a closet werewolf. Now Lan must reveal his biggest secret...and risk losing his life and his lover."
Fiona Glass (Tavaran) has been writing in some shape or form for about ten years. She's had various short stories published in Velvet Mafia; Torquere Press's Fresh Starts anthology; Sigil: Volume II; Veinglory #2; and the now defunct Shadowkeepzine. In her spare time she edits and runs Forbidden Fruit, an ezine specialising in homoerotic fiction for women and gay men.
Kay Derwydd (iasomie)
K.M. Frontain worked as a remedial English tutor for several years and has turned her talent for teaching toward proofreading and editing. She began her editing career helping authors on groups and forums. She is an associate editor for Freya's Bower and Wild Child Publishing, and has recently joined the team at Erotic Dreams as well. She writes her own fiction, mostly fantasy, and very much enjoys that her favourite pasttimes, reading and writing, have turned into a career.
James Buchanan is a multi-published author of homoerotic romance. James grew up in a small Southwestern town, hours away from any other small Southwestern towns. A stint at the State University, where he ostensibly majored in English, garnered him a degree useful for being someone's secretary. The absolute lack of employment opportunities led James to Southern California. After a stint in County Mental Health (administration, not client) he ran screaming into the field of Law. James has been practicing for nine years and someday he might even get it right.
Dusk Peterson (Dusk) writes mainstream fantasy stories, homoerotic historical fantasy tales, and contemporary gay fiction. Suspense plays an important role in many of the tales; the conflict in those tales is both external and internal. Peterson's stories are often placed in dark settings, such as prisons or wartime locations. The mood of the stories, however, is not one of unrelieved gloominess. Romance and friendship, especially male friendship, are recurring themes. Peterson's Website also provides nonfiction resources on the history and literature of friendship, romantic friendship, romance, and sexuality, including GLBT history and leather history. Dusk Peterson currently edits an e-zine of gay fiction and nonfiction, True Tales, whose contributors include Felice Picano and the late John Preston. In 2006, four of the e-zine's writings were finalists for the Rauxa Prize for Erotic Writing, including a story by Peterson, which was a runner-up in the erotic fiction category.
Fennie (T.H. Ailward) has published many stories and articles in newspapers and print magazines in the UK. She has only fairly recently ventured into online publishing. She lives in London, and enjoys clothes, shoes, feather boas and false eyelashes. She is mainly a mainstream writer, with a slashy side that breaks out into a story every now and then, and causes her to hang around here with other people who also believe that Bodie and Doyle were made for each other. Her sweet comedy romance ‘A Tail in Two Cities’ is available from Torquere Press, and features an angel, a demon, and an urban unicorn.
Heeding her own muses rather than those that belonged to other writers and filmmakers, Mya enjoys crafting erotica and welcomes the opportunity to use her English degree for something other than covering a hole in the wall. She is an avid fan of Godzilla, werewolves and dragons. Mya also enjoys watching the Sci Fi channel while she writes about naughty things, paints, crafts, and plays video games.
