New Review: Wolfkin

"The best part of Wolfkin, in my mind, is the writing. Emily Veinglory is always able to pull me into her stories and make me care about her characters, no matter how flawed."

Uniquely Wolfkin
A new review of Wolfkin is up from Uniquely Pleasureable."Because it's so atypical, it's hard to assess it by normal romance standards. In fact, there's no point. You shouldn't read this for the relationship or the sex, but for the imagery and the idea, and the deeply twisted interactions between Arun and those using him for their own ends. It's a strongly imagined work, though not an easy or comfortable read."

Wolfkin, released into the wild....
Wolfkin is an MM, werewolf, high fantasy novella ebook released a few days ago. You can get a copy direct from Samhain or from distributors including MobiPocket, Books on Board, All Romance eBooks and Powell's.I think Wolfkin is benefitting from some good karma. I decided over the New Year that I should donate the royalties of a book to a good cause. After a certain amount of dithering I decided the author royalties from Wolfkin would go to Wolf Mountain Sanctuary.
Pretty shortly thereafter I got this really stunning cover art for Wolfkin from Anne Cain. On the same day it was released two really great reviews were posted.
" fantasy romance is not something I usually read, this one is very good..." [Elisa Rolle]
"Wolfkin is a rare short story that I feel is as good as a full-length story in delivering an emotionally-charged romantic fantasy. The cover is beautiful, but the story is even more sublime." [Mrs. Giggles]

Wolfkin, coming soon.
The cover art went up today and it already had attracted some attention. Thanks for the mention to Mrs Giggles. Thanks for the great cover design go to Anne Cain.
In case anyone is interested below is my original cover request. The cover is at the end. The novella will be out July 8th, final edits just went in today.
Cover Art Request:
Arun: “A rather ordinary, gangly young man in tidy robes, plain to look at, bookish and a little prim.” Sandy hair, pale skin, solemn demeanor. I see him something like this, a stock pick I have bought if you want to use it.

Arun is going to be a sun priest and he initially sees the wolfkin as a monster of the darkness. Maybe something like this wolf but with a sun not the moon (maybe with Arun in foreground). Or just a simple male face in the dark but lit from above like in this shot (yes of a girl, but you get the idea)>
[wolf not shown due to copyright]

I would suggest more of a fantasy tone than an MM one (e.g. I love the man torso, but not too centre stage on this one as it is not really full on MM erotica?)
The Cover (I love it):
